CJC-1295 no DAC, also known as Modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF 1-29, is a synthetic analog of the N-terminal 29 amino acid fragment of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29). It carries four amino acid substitutions (at positions 2, 8, 15, and 27) that increase resistance to enzymatic degradation and improve stability relative to native GHRH. Unlike the DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) version, the “no DAC” form omits the albumin-binding group, giving it a short duration of action that makes it a useful tool for studying short-acting, pulsatile GHRH-receptor activity.

As a growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR) agonist, CJC-1295 no DAC is widely used as a reference compound in laboratory research on the somatotropic axis, pituitary growth hormone secretion, and growth hormone secretagogue signaling.
