TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) Synthetic Actin-Sequestering Peptide | Research Use Only

TB-500 is a synthetic analogue of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring 43 amino acid peptide ubiquitously expressed in mammalian tissues and found at elevated concentrations at sites of injury and cellular repair. As a primary actin-sequestering peptide, Thymosin Beta-4 plays a fundamental role in cytoskeletal dynamics by binding G-actin monomers and regulating actin polymerization, a mechanism central to cell migration, proliferation, and tissue remodeling processes.

In laboratory and preclinical research models, TB-500 has been investigated across a wide range of biological systems. Research applications include wound healing model studies, angiogenesis and vascular biology investigations, and cardiac tissue repair research in post-injury animal models. It has been extensively studied in connective tissue biology, including tendon, ligament, and muscle repair models, as well as corneal wound healing and hair follicle biology research. Additional research areas include neurological recovery models, anti-inflammatory signaling pathway investigations, and stem cell mobilization studies. TB-500 is widely utilized as a research tool in studies examining extracellular matrix interactions, cell survival mechanisms, and growth factor upregulation.

Chemical identity & references
"TB-500" is sold as two distinct molecules. Full-length Thymosin β4: PubChem CID 16132341 · UniProt P62328 · C212H350N56O78S, ~4963 g/mol. Our published TB-500 lot certificates to date (for example DPS-2022011, and the TB-500 pages of the KLOW certificate UMP-4944656) identify full-length thymosin β4, CAS 77591-33-4. Many "TB-500" lots are instead the acetylated N-terminal fragment Ac-LKKTETQ. Confirm which molecule your lot contains on its COA; see our explainer, BPC-157 and TB-500: what the blend actually contains

Molecular weights shown are nominal identity values; salt or complex form and net peptide content are stated on each lot’s Certificate of Analysis. Verify this lot’s COA.

Purity
Standard: at least 99% chromatographic purity by HPLC on every lot we publish; see the lot register for the actual result on each lot. Guarantee: if an independent laboratory finds a vial below 98.0% within the claim window, we replace it (Returns and Testing Policy). The gap between the 99% standard and the 98.0% guarantee is deliberate: it allows for the normal variance between laboratories and methods, not for a lower product.

Processed and shipped within 5 to 7 business days of purchase, then 2 to 5 business days carrier transit. See the Shipping and Delivery policy.
