KPV Alpha-MSH C-Terminal Tripeptide | Research Use Only

KPV (Lysine-Proline-Valine) is a naturally derived tripeptide representing the C-terminal sequence of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). As a bioactive fragment of α-MSH, KPV has been studied for its interactions with melanocortin receptors and its role in downstream anti-inflammatory signaling cascades, demonstrating activity in research models independent of the full α-MSH sequence.

In preclinical and in vitro research, KPV has been investigated for its modulation of NF-κB signaling pathways, pro-inflammatory cytokine expression, and innate immune response mechanisms.
